Hella-Barbara Rank has been a creative force in the Los Angeles fashion scene since 1988. A graduate of the renowned Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode in Munich, Germany, she began her career as Senior Artistic Director at one of Latin America’s most prominent fashion houses. After a decade of leading design teams, she brought her vision to life by opening her very own couture salon in Los Angeles, where she crafted timeless styles for a discerning, international clientele.

 

Drawn to the richness and versatility of leather, Hella also launched her ready-to-wear line, elevating the leather jacket into a statement piece defined by couture-level craftsmanship. Her designs embody a modern tension—refined yet raw, sophisticated yet daring—creating silhouettes that are both exceptional and enduring.

 

Alongside her apparel, Hella’s signature rose bag has remained a hallmark of her collection, inspiring a distinctive accessory line celebrated for its playfulness, eclectic details, and bold individuality.

 

Born in Germany, Hella now resides in Beverly Hills. Every Hella-Barbara Rank design is made exclusively in Beverly Hills, California and produced in limited editions to ensure the artistry, exclusivity, and originality her brand is known for.
